These make claims without giving facts and are often used in advertising and include flowery words. They have a "feel good" quality about them. |

These make claims - usually gives a number of positive examples without backing it up with specific research. |
What is citing statistics? |
These are numbers, percentages, and/or ratios that support the author's opinion in some way. Often times it is taken from research. |
