Welcome to the early republic flashcards! The early republic is by Joseph J. Ellis. In April of 1789 the ink on the recently ratified constitution was barely dry when George Washington began the trek from his Mount Vernon plantation to the national capital at New York. Are you interested in the early republic? Are you interested in becoming a historian? Do you just want to test your skills? Well these flashcards help! This is a very tricky subject, but luckily we’ve gathered up all this information and split it up into three sections.
In our first set we discuss those who served under George Washington and some the parties created from this event. In our next set of flashcards we’ve provided pictures and explained what is depicted in them. In our final set of flashcards, we have provided a quiz. We ask tough questions like, “Who is the head of the Federalist Party?” The answer is Alexander Hamilton. Good luck!
