The Certified Accounting Technician is a qualification by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA, in the UK. Nowadays, this is the only organization which is capable of granting the certification in the country and provides the standards for the so-called test. So does its counterpart in the USA, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Although the CAT qualification stands alone it is often the case that the applicants pursue further formation via the ACCA professional scheme.
Hence, passing the test with flying colors is not only the best bet but almost a mandatory requirement if you wish to continue your education in this institution. The tests are rigorous to the extent that almost half the attendants will fail to pass. This is yet another reason to spend the preparation time efficiently; the mastery of the concepts will be put to the limit in this exam. Those who succeed will definitely demonstrate that their interest in accounting is strong. Cheer up!
