Elastic demand is when the quantity is effected by the price. Inelastic means they will sell the same amount no matter the price. Business is inelastic because they are told to go. Leisure is elastic because consumers want to go.

A company that contracts with hotels, transportation and other suppliers and sells individual products to a consumer. They book space but do not pay for the product until it's sold.
Tour Operator
A company that contract with hotels, transportation and other suppliers to create a complete tour package, including the services of a guide. Pays for product then sells it.
Consolidator
Purchases a large number of airline seats at a low price. Sells to tour operators and travel agents at discounted prices.
Independant tours and group tours
Independant: not part of a group Group: Ground package. Inclusive. May be escorted.
