BABY
AKA Child's Pose
BEAR
Crawl on hands and knees or hands and feet. Growl like a bear.
BIRD
Sit cross-legged, arms behind with fingers interlaced, look up
BRIDGE
Hands behind and lift onto hands and feet.
BUTTERFLY
Sit with heels touching and hands on feet. Raise and lower knees (butterfly wings).
CAMEL
Sit tall on knees. Reach hands to heels and lean back. Make a camel noise.
CAT
Part 1: Mad Cat-On hands and knees, arch back and drop head, hiss. Part 2: Happy Cat-Raise head and meow.
CHAIR
Lower bottom so legs make a chair. Raise arms in the air.
COBRA
Lie on stomach with hands under shoulders. Push up with arms and poof out chest. Hiss like a snake.
COW
Sit with knee over knee (or cross-legged) and moo. Switch sides.
DOWN DOG
Start on hands and knees. Push legs straight with bottom in the air. Drop head and broaden shoulders.
EAGLE
Bend left arm into L -shape. Bring right arm under left and bring palms together. Lift arms and stretch them away from the body. Slowy untwist and switch.
HAPPY BABY
Lie on back with knees bent and over hips. Place hands on knees. Alternate moving legs out and make a happy baby noise.
LEAF
Sit with spine straight, soles of feet together, hands on ankles. Gently round spine and then return to sitting straight.
LION
Sit on knees with bottom on feet. Place hands on legs. Stick out tongue, then roar.
