Document agreed to by King John of England, it gave nobles individuals greater rights and made it clear that the nobility and monarchs must obey the law.(King couldn't raise taxes)

Peace agreement that ended the French and Indian War. France lost most of its colonial empire in N. Am. To the British, including Canada and all lands east of the Miss. River.
13.What was the main Cause of the American Revolution?
The French and Indian War left the British with a large debt. To help pay off this debt, the British Parliament sought to tax the colonists. These taxes would eventually lead to the outbreak of the American Revolution.
14. What was the Proclamation of 1763?
The British declared that colonists could not settle in lands west of the Appalachian Mountains to protect colonists from Am. Indian attacks.. -Many colonist complained that the British had no right to deny them access to these lands after the colonists had fought to obtain them in the French and Indian War.
15.What was the Stamp Act of 1765?
To repay the war debt, The British Parliament put a new tax on colonial paper items(newspaper, book, documents, licenses.) -Many colonist felt this was unfair since they were not represented in Parliament.
