It gives a command/ tells someone or something what to do.

What does the subject tell us?
It tells us who or what the sentence is about.

It replaces the noun. For example:-"he" replaces a boy-"she" replaces a girl-"it" replaces a thing

What is a verb?
An action word- it tells what is being done.
What is a helping verb?
It is a verb that indicates a state of being such as is, are, was, were, etc.
Can a sentence with just two words be a complete sentence?
Yes, as long as it has a subject and a predicate.-e.g. "dogs bark"
Is the following a complete sentence? Joe walked the dog.
Yes, because it has a subject, Joe, and a predicate, walked.
