|
Less economically developed country. A lot of the population do not have the basic needs.

Long term aid
|
Assistance given to a poor country possibly over a long period of time that has a lasting effect, e.g. education, training, health care programmes.

Natural disaster
|
A natural process, e.g. floods, tsunamis and earthquakes. They can cause destruction of the environment, loss of life and economic loss.

Poverty
|
The condition of being without money, food, shelter and other basic needs of life.

Stewardship
|
Ideas that humans have a duty to look after the world and everyone in it.

Sustainable development
|
Development which will keep going, and not be limited by time, money or environmental issues.

Unfair trade
|
Using various deceptive, fraudulent or unethical methods to obtain business, e.g. false advertising.

World trade
|
The trade between every country of the world.
