Weathering
Breaking down rocks into smaller pieces; this process creates sediment.

Crust
Solid rock that makes up Earth's outermost layer.
Vibrations
A back and forth motion. It can be caused by sound and movement; any source of energy.
Drastic
Severe or radical in nature: extreme. Example: When you have very long hair and you suddenly shave your head.

Soil
The top layer of the earth's surface, consisting of rock and mineral particles mixed with organic matter.

Subtle
So slight as to be difficult to detect or describe. For example: very small chunges that happen slowly over time are subtle. It is sometimes hard to see any change at all.

Moving, acting, or occurring with great speed.
Gravity
A force of attraction, or pull, between any object and any other objects around it. Gravity is a property of matter.
Incline
Tilt, slope; such as a hillside.
Pressure
1. the action of a force against an opposing force.
2. the application of force to something by something else in direct contact with it.
Crust
