Define Superior
|
Closer to the head that any other part
(example shoulder is superior to the elbow)

Define inferior
|
Towards the front of the body (example the knee inferior to the hip)

|
Towards the front of the body (example the pertorials are anterior to the latissimus dorsi)

Define posterior
|
Towards the back of the body (example the hamstring are posterior to the quadriceps)

|
Towards the imaginary midline of the body (example the nose is medial to the ears)

|
Away from the imaginary midline of the body (example the ears are lateral to the eyes

|
A body point is closer to its attached point (example elbow is proximal to the wrist cause its closer to the shoulder)
