Disputed Facts Speech
When a speech makes use of "facts" which are inconclusive (i.e. they're debatable or not everyone agrees that they are true) (e.g. "is there life out there inspace?"; "what causes Alzheimer's disease?"; "why can't Johnny read?")
Belief/Value Speech
A speech that focuses on "what is better, right, or moral?"
Action/Policy Speech
Speeches designed to move people to action; "what should or should not be done?"
Influence
A power that affects a person or a course of events, usually indirectly
Motivation
Any stimulation or inducement that leads to an act or belief
