First, create a sense of urgency, because it is urgent and you are busy!: "I'm in between appointments but I wanted to catch you" OR “I don’t have a lot of time to talk, but it was really important that I reach you.” OR “I have a million things going on, but I’m glad I caught you.” OR “I’m running out the door, but I needed to talk to you real quick.”
THEN: "I'm in between appointments and I know you're busy too but there is something I really want to tell you about. I work for the doctors who created ProActiv. Their new company is called Rodan + Fields Dermatologists and it is one of the strongest and fastest growing companies today and expanding into ________ (market). I am building my executive team and immediately thought of you because you are ______ (whatever traits they are that you know will serve them well in RF) and we are seeking quality, professional people. You may or may not have a personal interest but I am hoping you can lead me to just the right person. Do you have a few minutes in the next day or two and I can get you all the info? Great I'm going to bring on my business partner. Looking forward to talking with you at (time, day). |
