What are the three forms of supreme being or reality in Hinduism?

Hindu Trinity - Three main gods. Brahma - the creator, Vishnu - the preserver, Shiva - the destroyer.

Define Samskara
|
Samskara are the rituals performed in the Hindu lifestyle. These include Pujas, the thread ceremony and the wedding ceremony.

Define Karma
|
The law of karma says that what you do in your life will come back to you. I.e. if you do more good than bad, you will be reincarnated in a better life. If you do more bad than good, you will be reincarnated in a lower form or life.

Define Moksha
|
Hindus believe in reincarnation, that you are born again after death, and that your karma determines in what sort of life. After many many rebirths, your soul becomes one with the universe - this is moksha. The escape from the cycle of samsara (birth, death and rebirth).

Define Dharma
|
Dharma are the eternal laws of Hinduism. E.g. the concept of the world spirit or God, Brahman. Or, 'free to imagine God in any form'.

|
The incarnation of a God (particularly Vishnu) in human form on Earth.

What are the Vedas?
|
The Vedas are ancient scripts of holy beliefs and pracitces of the Hindu life. It contains hymns, ceremonies, rituals, and information about re-incarnation, karma and Brahman.

1. The Student. Education under the guidance of a guru or spiritual teacher and their parents.
2. The Householder. Marriage, and looking after your family - providing etc. 3. The Hermit. Renouncing all pleasures, the man devotes himself to reading the scriptures and trying to answer the 'big questions'. (What is the universe about etc). 4. The Spirited Pilgrim. Leaving family and possessions, man goes traveling and life is devoted to finding moksha. |
