Young Hero. Danae is mother; born into chamber. Thrown into the sea in a box. Boasts to king Polydectus that he can bring more than a horse; he can bring Medusa's head. He does get the head. Turns into Atlas mountatin rage.
Argos
Region in Greece where Perseus is from. People from Argos worship Hera.
Acrisius
Perseus' great grandfather, King of Argo. Has only a daughter, Danae. Told by an oracle that a son of Danae will kill him. Locks the in a chamber.
Danae
Perseus' mother. Is impregnated by a "golden shower" from Zues. Is sent away in a box with Perseus. King Polydectus falls in love with Danae; she refuses him.
Dictys
Fisherman who rescues Danae and Perseus.
Seriphos
Where Perseus and Danae end up. Polydectes is the king of Seriphos.
Gorgons
Women where Perseus is sent to get information about Medusa. They have one eye and on etooth between the three. He holds their eye and tooth hostage.
Medusa
Perseus needs to get her head. Nymphs give him an invisibility hat, winged sandals and the Kibis for help. Hermes also gives him a Sithe. Kills Medusa. Athena guides him. Poseidon is their father.

Andromeda
Daughter of King Cepheus; rescued by Perseus
Cassiepea
Mother of Andromeda. She boasts she is more beautiful than the sea nymphs (Nariads). Poseidon punishes her by flooding the kingdom of Cepheus and sending a sea monster.
Cepheus
King. Sees an oracle about the flood and is told that if he sacrifices Andromeda by chaining her to a rock. It'll go away.
Perseus & Andromeda
Perseus says he'll kill the sea monster if he can marry Andromeda. He does. He turns Phineus (suitor to Andromeda) by using Medusa's head; turns him into a rock. They have a son: Perseus and leave him to grow up with Cepheus.
