What do the different changes in the slope indicate?
The change in slopes indicate the different amounts of speed the person is driving the car.
Whos was going faster?
Teasha, because she reached one mile in two minutes while it took Josh three minutes.
When Josh gets 6 minutes into his trip what does the graph look like?
6 minutes into the trip Josh turns around, the trip looks like a triangle with a flat top at this point.
Same speed, stops, then goes faster in the opposite direction.
Graph 2
Same speed, stops, then goes faster.
Graph 4
Same speed, then goes faster.
Graph 1
Same speed, then goes slower.
Graph 3
Does the speed of the cart affect how far the block will move?
The faster the car moves the harder the car wold hit the block, therefore the block wll move farther.
Does the release height of the cart affect how fast it will go?
I think the release height does have a big affect on the speed of a car. The steeper the place where you drop the cart from, the faster the car will go.
What parts of the experiment increased your confidence in it?
How fast the cart hits the block at different points.
What parts of the experiment decreased your confidence in it?
Nothing.
Does he speed of a car affect how much damage it will take in an accident?
Yes, the faster the car is going the more damage it wll take.
