  1. What is Deism?
Deism becomes a new religious doctrine or concept. It states that God did indeed create the world. But God then stepped back and once the world was created he left us alone and no longer took action in the world. He was like a clockmaker who created the clock, then put it on the shelf and no longer touched it.
