Helping Process

1. Engagement
Try and imagine where the client is before they come in and how the client feels and what they are going through 2. Interviewing Dialoge with a purpose, listening, and getting to know the client, learn about them and their story 3. Assessment clients want to know (1) you care about them (2) understand them (3) competent to help 4. Treatment plan Make sure you draw up the plan with the client so that they agree to the treatment and how they are going to get there 5. Implement-intervention-begin to work on the plan 6.evaluation 7. terminate- JOINT DECISION 8. FOLLOW UP! |
