What do you see yourself doing in 5yrs from now?

I see myself progressing in this field & taking in a more senior role. Gaining new skills and techniques that will allow me to advance in this position.

What motivates you? How do you motivate others?
|
I am motivated by difficult challenges & projects. The more responsibility I have, the more opportunity I get to prove myself which I find very motivating. I use this experience to motivate others too.

Why do you want this job?
|
This position is in a stable company that offers long term career development (which is what im looking for) and provides me with hands on experience & knowledge- which I know is the right stage of my career

How do you like to learn new things?
|
Sharing stories, experiences from team members (even mistakes). But if it's something I need to learn right away, I'm not afraid to look it up online or ask.

What are some examples of activities & surroundings that motivate you?
|
Ex of activities would be my personal achievements that I have gained throughout my undergrad. For ex, accepting the responsibility of becoming a HS peer advisor for my dept allows me to help other students. Ex of surroundings would be with people who are positive who want to excel high

What are people likely to misunderstand about you?
|
Shy & quiet. But I don't let that get to me because I know I can be very aggressive w projects and tasks. I can be very persistant until my voice is heard and I let my personal achievements speak for itself.

How do you make yourself indispensable to a company?
|
Maintaining meaningful relationships with my team members that is based on mutual respect, making sure I improve everyday and inspire others to do the same

Describe your ideal job or boss
|
My ideal job would consist of learning new challenges everyday and meeting new people. My ideal boss would be someone who shows great leadership skills and can be someone we look up to, someone who is sensitive towards their employees who will treat them fair and equal

How do you handle pressure?
|
Prioritizing Responsibilities & managing my time efficiently. (sm tasks 1st, then big ones later)

Do you prefer to work as a team or independently?
|
Both bc independently, I am usually calm and can think clearly when I'm alone. But I work well with teams bc I enjoy sharing stories, experiences, skills, and talents - that will help me learn from one another

How do you accept direction & at the same time, maintain a critical stance regarding your ideas and values?
|
I take direction very well. whether it would be long & detailed or short, I work well either way. However, I do prefer long directions only because I can understand them thoroughly, but I definitely don't need to be micromanaged. If I have a question, Im not afarid to ask. As far as maintaining a critical stance of my ideas/ values, I am very open and accepting. But @ the same time, I know the difference btwn right and wrong, & if I see something that conflicts w my values, I'm not afraid to speak up

Tell me a time when you had to accomplish a task with someone who was difficult to get along with.
|
I was in a team where there was 1 person who did not cooperate. So I made sure I gave her different options on how to participate in our grp. I just made sure I was sensitive to her needs but @ the same time make sure I influence her to cooperate bc each member has valuable input.

What have been your greatest areas of improvement in your career?
|
Becoming a little extroverted and taking intitative. I make sure I exercise my leadership skills by taking in more responsibility and challenging myself

Whats the toughest feedback you've ever received and how did you learn from it?
|
I've been told that I do not take initiative & therefore this affects my opportunities. Lately, I've been challenging myself by taking in more responsibility and exercising my leadership skills.
