What happened as a solution to The Great Compromise?
The government turned into a bicameral legislation- two houses
Who was The Great Compromise between?
The states with the states with large populations and the states with smaller population *at the Constitutional Convention*
What was the smaller populations side to the fight?
They thought they would be overpowered if reps were based on population --> they would always be outvoted by the larger population states
What was the larger populations side to the fight?
They wanted their own power to be based on population because it was only fair to have equal reps from an equal number of people
