Front Back
Pickup to hover
1.verify dorrs latched, Go on, RPM stabiized
2. Clear area, select 50' target
3.raise collective until aircraft is light on skids
4. Lift into hover
Takeoff
1. Stabilize hover2.Check gauges3.apply slight forward cyclic4. as translational lift occurs push forward on cyclic5. accelerate to climb speed
Normal Approach
1.Make final into wind at lowest practical rate of descent with initial airspeed of 60 kts
2. reduce airspeed and altitude smoothly to hover
Land from hover
1. Stablize hover into the wind2. Focus on point 50' ahead
3. lower collective gradually until ground contact4. check for ground stability5.neutralize controls6. lower collective to full down
Low RPM
1. indicated by low RPM light and warning horm2.roll throttle on and lower collective3. in forward flight apply aft cyclic
Warning Lights Brake Starter Gov-off
Brake1. rotor brake engaged, release rotor brake
Starter light stays on after start1.pull mixture to idle cutoff2.turn off master
Gov-off1. indicates Gov is off, must control RPM manually
Warning lights Clutch
Clutch light is on for more than 8 seconds during flight
1. pull clutch circuit breaker and reduce power immediately2. Land, be prepared for autorotation
Warning Lights Alt
1. turn off non-essential electrical equipment2.switch Alt off and on, if light remains, land when practical
Warning Lights Oil
1. Check engine tach for power loss2. Check oil pressure gauge3. if oil pressure loss is confirmed land immediately
Warning Lights MR Chip MR temp TR chip Low Fuel
MR Chip/TR Chip/MR Temp1.if light is accompanied by indication of failure, land immediately. if no indication land when practical
Low Fuelone gallon of usable fuel remains, engine will run for 5 minutes. land immediately
Governor Failure
1. Grip throttle firmly to override governor2.Turn off governor3. Complete flight using manual throttle control
Tachometer Failure
Use remaining tach or allow governor to control RPM and land as soon as practical
Electrical Fire during Flight
1. Master switch off2.Alt switch off3. Land immediately4. extinguish and inspect for damage
Fire in flight
1. Enter autorotation2. Master switch off3. Cabin heat off4. Cabin vent on5.if engine s running, perform normal landing and immediately shut off fuel valve6. if engine stops running, shut off fuel valve and execute autorotation
Engine Fire during start on ground
1. Crank engine to suck flame and excess fuel through carb2. if engine starts, run at %50 for a short time, inspect for damage3. if engine fails to start, shut off fuel valve and master switch4.extinguish fire with fire extinguisher, wool blanked, dirt etc.5. inspect for damage
