|
Kings only answer to God and not to the people he ruled. (to disagree with the king if he was to disagree with God).

The people don't have to follow the ruler's (government's) rules if they don't interpret them.

3 systems of Government
|
Unitary- power is concentrated in the central government. Regional governments carry out decisions made by the central government. Federal- National, stae, and regional governments share power. All levels have the power to make their own laws, elect officials, and create agencies. Confederal- Independent states join together in a confederation and delegate limited pwoers to a central government. the central government only has powers given to it by the states.

Liberty- the ability of people to act and think as they choose. Equality- the principle that all people posses a fundamental, moral worth that entitles them to fair treatment under the law and equal opportunity in all aspects of life- political, social, and economic. Self-Government- the belif that ordinary people could aspire to rule themselves and do so as political equals.

allows for people and businesses to make their own economic choices about how best to produce, distribute, and exchange goods, and services with limited interference from gov't.

Allows people to buil wealth that will empower them to limit the pwer of the gov't.

Yes, because it sets forth the basic rights of citizens, establishes the responsibility of the government to protect those rights.
