What is a pnuemothorax?
When air gets into chest and causes a lung to collapse, it can occur even wihout an open wound in the chest
What should you do with a sucking chest wound?
Immidiete life threat, place occlusive dressing over, 3 sides bandage
What is a tension pnuemothorax?
Caused by air leaked from the lung into the chest
What is paradoxical movement?
Chest moving in opposite directions during respirations
What is trachial deviation?
When the rachea moves to one side, it always deviates to the side of the good lung

Cardiac output drops significantly and blood backs up in the veneous system
