What are some qualities of arteries(5)?
|
Carry mostly oxygenated blood, thick muscular walls, high
pressure, greater contractility, pulse wave only felt over superficial bone.

|
Deep veins are well supported by tissue and muscle.
Superficial veins are smaller and located subcutaneously, poor support.

What are functions of the lymphatic system(5)?
|
Conserve fluid and plasma proteins, immune function, filter
and purify lymph, engulf pathogens, antigens that are removed are presented to
lymphocytes.

Right lymphatic duct drains the right arm and superior to
diaphragm. Left lymphatic duct [THORACIC DUCT] drains everything else
