Is the worst terrorist group based in West Africa. They have close ties with Al-Qaeda and are vehemently anti-Western education. In fact, their name means “Western education is sin.”

Hafiz Saeed, is the leader of this group Translating to Army of the Righteous. It operates around Pakistan and India, and they have no problem attacking hundreds of innocent people.

“party of Allah.” This terrorist group was formed by Muslim clerics, and they have representatives as high up as the cabinet of the Lebanese government, meaning they are, as a whole, very powerful. They are also very destructive and have killed many innocent civilians.

Founded by Mullah Mohammed Omar in 1994, they makes money via human and drug trafficking. They have killed many innocent people, which they do in the name of jihad in Afghanistan.

Founded in 2006, the mission of terrorist group is to stop Somalian foreign military forces. One of their most devastating attacks occurred in 2015, when the group killed 148 students at a university in Kenya.

Known for their role in the attacks on September 11, their objective is to unify Muslims through jihad. The group was founded by the late Osama bin Laden, and they have killed thousands of innocent people in an effort to achieve their goal.

This terrorist group claims to be anti-imperialist, and they use guerrilla tactics and violence to push their support of communism. They are funded through trafficking and extortion, among other illegal means in Colombia.

Finally, the world’s worst terrorist group. It is made up of 80,000 people strong and growing larger every day. They kill people indiscriminately and are no strangers to abuse of all kinds. They operate primarily in Iraq, Syria, Palestine and the Middle East and have been linked to the attacks on Paris.

Operating out of Uganda, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and parts of southern Sudan. They are a terrorist group under the leadership of Joseph Kony. The group is nearly defunct, but they have killed thousands.

Most powerful, exports cocaine and heroine, controls Baja California, Durango, Sonora, Chihuahua (Juarez). They Get revenue from PEMEX, they dominate NY city, fought the Zetas, and their motto is " We are lesser of evils." Leader Joaquin "El Chap" Guzman was captured, and US wants his extradition.

Mata Zetas/ Leader Nemecio Oseguera "El Mencho." Goal was to destroy the Zetas. Some members were part of the Sinaloa Cartel, and did a lot of havoc in Jalisco bombing gas stations and banks.

Oldest of the cartels founded in 1970s. crime organizations based in Europe, West Africa, Latin America and the United States. Even though, many of their leaders have been captured, there is always somebody waiting to take the post. This Cartel is in severe decline. Leader Osiel Cardenas was extradited to the United States. Leader Servando “la Tuta” Gomez was captured by the Mexican Police.posting huge banners on bridges and other public places. They are very religious:The Banners read: “The Knight Templar Cartel will not partake in any warlike acts, we are not murderers, welcome Pope.” When the Pope left Mexico, the Knights resumed their killings.

Cruelest, originated late 1990’s, recruited experienced military officers,set up rigorous training camps, kill their victims without any hesitation, intimidate them psychologically. Responsible for the 2011 massacre in the town of Allende, Coahuila, they killed an estimated of 500 civilians. It was weakened by the arrest of the leader Miguel Angel Trevino Morales and brother Omar.

Branched out of the SInaloa Cartel, has ties with the Zetas, is a powerful cartel, it was made up of 5 brothers, almost extinct cartel.
