What is the Abdominopelvic Cavity?
The second subdivision of the ventral cavity, it contains: the kidneys, stomach, liver and gallbladder, small and large intestines, pancreas, spleen and in women the uterus and ovaries.
What is the Cranial Cavity?
The cavity containing the brain.
What is the Mediastinum?
The space between the two pleural cavities (lungs) that contains the heart, the thymus gland, lymph and blood vessels, esophagus, trachea, and nerves.

The ventral cavity contains the organs that are involved in maintaining homeostasis or a constant internal environment. The cavities inside the ventral cavity are: The Thoracic cavity and the Abdominopelvic Cavity.

The diaphragm.
