2nd Amendment
|
A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free-State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
-Each state can have an armed force to protect them. The National and State governments regulate the use of firearms.

3rd Amendment
|
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor, in time of war, but in a manner to perscribed by law.
-A person can not be forced to house a soldier in their home in time of war or peace.

4th Amendment
|
The right of the people to be seure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or thiongs to be seized.
-A police officer is not allowed to search or seize any place or persons without worthy evidence to support their cause for wanted to search or seize.

5th Amendment
|
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War, or public danger;
-No person can recieve the death penalty without the consent of the Grand Jury, except in special cases in the land, naval, or army forces when they are serving in war or in for the safety of the public.

nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jepordy of life or limb
-No person can be charged for a crime, let off, and then that case be brought up again.

Nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself
-A convict can be his own witness.

Nor be deprived of life, liberty, orfor public use, without due process of law;
-A person is subject to all their rights after being convicted of a crime.

Nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
-The government can't take someones land away from them without paying them.

6th Amendment
|
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall ahve been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law,
-A convict has the right to a fast and public trial where he is looked at by an impartial jury, in the state where he committed the crime.

6th Amendment

And to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation;
-He must be informed of what crime he committed.
