Protects: 1) Peoples right to have guns and not get in trouble.

Amendment #3 |
1) Prevented soldiers from living in any house without the permission of the owner in time of war or peace.

Amendment #4 |
Protects: 1) People from unreasonable searches by police.
2) Have to have a warrant to search, and it has to be a good reason to get it.
3) Warrant has to specify person, place, and things that need to be seized.

Amendment #5 |
Protects: 1) The right to have a grand jury.
2) From being charged twice for the same crime.
3) A person from witnessing against him/her self.
4) A person from life, freedom, and property being taken away.
5) A persons own property being taken away for the publics use, without the right compensation.

Amendment #6 |
Protects: 1) The right to have a fair and fast trial, with a jury, and in the state and district where the crime was commited.
2) The right to be informed of the cause of the accusation.
3) The right to know the witnesses against oneself.
4) The right to get witnesses in oneselfs favor.
5) The right to have a lawyer/attorney in oneselfs favor.

1) In disputes of common law, the value of controversy had to be more than $20.
2) The right to a jury was the same as always.

Amendment #8 |
Protects: 1) People from unfairly amounts of bail or fines.
2) From cruel and unusual punishment.

Amendment #9 |
1) Just because there are not other rights in the Constitution for the people, does not mean they don't have them.

Amendment #10 |
Protects: 1) The rights that are not stated in the Constitution are given to the States or the people.

Amendment #11 |
Protects: 1) States from being sued in court by someone of another state or country.
2) States from being sued by someone of its own state.

Amendment #12 |
1) Seperates the ballots between runners of presidents and vice presidents.
2) Each person voting casts a ballot for president and another for vice president.
3) The vice president runner must meet the same requirements as the president runner.

Amendment #13 |
Protects: 1) People from slavery.
2) People from forced labor, except for in punishment crime cases.

Amendment #14 |
1) All people born in the United States are citizens of the country and the state they live in.
2) No state can make or enforce a law that harms the persons privelages of the United States.
3) No state can take away a persons life, freedom, or property unfairly.
4) No state can deny and people inside it equal protection of the laws.

Protects: 1) The right for all U.S citizens to vote no matter race, color, or other conditions.
