Absolute location: is the exact place on earth where a geographic feature, such as a city, is found.
Relative Location: describes a place in comparison, to ther places around it.

Latitude lines: A set of imaginary lines that run parallel to the equator. ( FLATITUDE)

ex. a city and its suburbs; highways, bus lines etc move people from the suburbs to the city for jobs/activities.

Perceptual Regions? Give an example.

Region in which people percieve, or see the characteristics of the region in the same way.
ex. some pepe believe the midwest begins in hoio, others think in the iddle of illinois.

Formal Regions: Give an example.

Defined by a limited number of related characteristics.
Ex. Latin America, Europe, U.S and Canada, East ASia.
